Foldable Piano Key Wall Hooks

Six wooden hooks that fold flat against the backing board when not in use, arranged like the keys of a piano. Folded away the rack reads as a plain wooden panel; in use, only the hooks you need are down, which keeps a hallway from looking permanently cluttered.

That folding action solves a real problem in a narrow space. A conventional hook rack projects into a corridor whether or not anything is hanging on it, catching sleeves and bags on the way past. These sit almost flush until you need them.

Three wood finishes. Wood colour is the lightest and most neutral. Walnut is deeper and more formal. Walnut wood sits between the two. All three take coats, hats, bags and accessories, and the six positions mean a household of two or three has a hook each with spares. Mount it into studs or with fixings appropriate to the wall, since a loaded rack carries more weight than expected. Each hook pivots on its own small hinge rather than a shared rod, so one hook can be down while the rest stay folded flat, which matters in a narrow hallway where every centimetre of clearance counts. The walnut wood finish shows scuffing least of the three, since its grain already carries variation that hides light marks. Fixings are supplied for stud walls, but plasterboard needs its own wall anchors, sold separately, to carry a loaded coat safely.
