Vintage 3-Light Ceiling Spotlight

Three caged shades on a matte black frame, each rotating independently on its mount. That adjustability is the practical case for a spotlight bar over a fixed fitting: light can be aimed at a worktop, a picture, a reading chair and a doorway from one ceiling point.

The cage shades are open rather than solid, so the bulb is visible and becomes part of the look. That suits a filament bulb, which is what this style is designed around, and it means the choice of bulb changes the character of the fixture as much as the frame does. Each cage rotates on its own joint rather than the whole bar tilting together, so one shade can be aimed at a worktop while the other two stay fixed on the room, which a single-head spotlight cannot manage. The bar itself sits close enough to the ceiling that it clears a standard doorway without needing to be repositioned.

Semi-flush mounting keeps it close to the ceiling, so it works in a room with standard height where a track on a drop would sit too low. The matte black frame suits industrial, rustic and loft interiors, and pairs with black handles and brassware elsewhere. It takes E14 bulbs, not included. Installation should be carried out by a competent person, with the circuit isolated before work begins.
