Ripple LED Flush Ceiling Lamp

Layered acrylic cut into concentric rings, so the surface reads as water disturbed by a dropped stone. Lit from within, the ridges catch light at their edges and the whole fixture gains depth rather than glowing as one flat disc, which is the usual fate of a flush mount.

Three diameters do genuinely different jobs. At 41 cm it suits a bedroom, a hallway or a small dining area. At 50 cm it holds a standard living room. At 60 cm it becomes the main fixture in an open-plan space and needs the floor area to justify it. Measure the room before choosing: an undersized flush mount looks like an afterthought. A flush mount also suits a room with a ceiling rose or coving already in place, since nothing hangs down to interrupt it.

Each size comes in warm white or cold white, chosen at purchase since the LED is integrated rather than a replaceable bulb. Warm suits bedrooms and living rooms where the light is part of the atmosphere; cold white is clearer and better for kitchens, hallways and workspaces. It sits close to the ceiling, so it works where a pendant would hang too low. Installation should be carried out by a competent person.
