Wood and Leather Hanging Wall Lamp

A shade suspended from a leather strap on a wood and metal bracket, so the light hangs rather than projects. That vertical drop is unusual for a wall fixture and it changes the light: the beam falls straight down the wall instead of out into the room.

Wood and metal meet at a simple bracket that keeps the whole fixture close to the wall. Condition the leather occasionally with a proper leather balm rather than a household polish, which can leave the strap looking patchy. Installation should be carried out by a competent person, with the circuit isolated before work begins.
