Macaron Round Ceiling Light

A small rounded shade in a soft pastel, on a short stem that swivels. The head turns and tilts, so this is a ceiling light you aim rather than one that simply points down. That single detail is what separates it from every flat white disc on a hallway ceiling.

Its size makes it useful where a full scale fixture would be too much. A narrow hallway, a landing, a walk in cupboard, a child's bedroom, the corner of a larger room that needs its own light. Two or three along a corridor, each angled slightly differently, read as a deliberate rhythm rather than a row of identical fittings.

Five colours. Yellow and pink are the warmest, blue and green the coolest, and grey is the neutral of the five for a room where the fitting should stay quiet. The aluminium body keeps the weight down and handles heat better than plastic, which matters at this size. The pastel coating is baked onto the metal, so it holds its colour evenly and resists the yellowing a painted plastic shade shows after a few years. Because the fitting sits close to the ceiling, it clears low door frames and sloped sections where a pendant would not fit. Installation should be carried out by a competent person, with the circuit isolated before work begins.
