A ceramic shade sculpted into a flower form, in a matte cream glaze, held on a brushed brass arm. Ceramic is unusual in a wall light and it is the reason this one reads as vintage rather than contemporary: the material has weight and a slightly uneven surface that metal and glass cannot imitate.
The shade curves inward, so light gathers inside the flower and spills out softly rather than projecting into the room. That makes it a mood fixture for a bedside, a living room corner or a boutique interior, where the glow matters more than the output. Brass warms it further where the arm catches the light.
Four shade variations, numbered one to four, differ in the petal arrangement and depth of the sculpting. Cream is common to all four, which means two of different designs still work as a pair either side of a bed. Ceramic is more fragile than metal, so handle it carefully during installation. Fitting should be carried out by a competent person, with the circuit isolated before work. Matte glaze holds dust in the sculpted petals, so a soft brush reaches into them better than a cloth. Given the weight of the ceramic, fix into something solid rather than bare plasterboard.
