Scandinavian Outdoor Wall Lamp

A rectangular aluminium frame with an integrated LED, kept deliberately plain so the shape carries the design. Clean lines and a long profile give it an architectural quality that a lantern or a bulkhead fitting cannot manage.

Two lengths change what it does. At 35 cm and 10W it marks a doorway or a section of wall. At 42 cm and 12W it runs longer and reads as a deliberate horizontal line, which suits a wide elevation or a stretch of garden wall where a small fixture would be lost. The longer 42 cm version is also the better choice either side of a garage door or a wide gate, where a short fixture would look lost against the span.

Warm white is the more welcoming choice at an entrance and flatters brick and timber. Cold white is crisper against grey render or modern paving, and does better wayfinding work along a path. Aluminium resists corrosion outdoors and keeps the fixture light. Follow the supplied instructions for outdoor installation, with wiring carried out by a competent person. Fit the shorter 35 cm size on a narrower pillar or post, where the longer bar would overhang awkwardly on either side. Aluminium keeps the fixture light enough to fit without heavy brackets, which helps on a rendered wall where deep fixings are not ideal.
