Triple Globe Glass Wall Light

Three frosted glass globes spaced along a slim metal frame. The repetition is what makes it work: a single globe is an accent, but three in a row become a horizontal line of light that fills a wider stretch of wall than a conventional sconce can reach.

Frosted rather than clear glass, so each globe hides its source and glows evenly. That matters at eye level in a hallway, where clear glass would show three bright points as you walk past. Above a bed or a console, the three-globe span means one fixture does the job of a pair without needing two sets of fixings.

Gold is the warmer finish and reads as decorative, suiting a bedroom or a dining room. Black is cooler and more graphic against pale plaster. Each comes in warm or cold white, chosen at purchase. Warm suits bedrooms and living areas; cold white is clearer for a hallway or a landing. Installation should be carried out by a competent person, with the circuit isolated before work. Because the three globes share one backplate, the fixing has to be level: mark up with a spirit level before drilling, since any tilt shows immediately across a horizontal run. A dry cloth keeps the frosting clear.
