Linear LED Wall Sconce

Two gently curved bars running parallel along the wall, lit along their length rather than from a point. The result is a line of light rather than a pool, which is what makes it work above a bathroom mirror where an overhead fitting throws shadows onto a face.

Three lengths change what it can do. At 60 cm it sits above a standard mirror or a bedside. At 80 cm it spans a wider vanity or a section of wall in a dining room. At 100 cm it becomes architectural, running along a corridor or above a long console where it draws the eye along the wall rather than to a single spot.

Black is the more graphic finish and holds a hard line against pale tile or plaster. Gold is warmer and softer, and reads as decorative rather than functional, which suits a dining room or a bedroom better than a bathroom. Both finishes are powder-coated rather than plated, which resists fingermarks better in a bathroom where hands are often damp. The diffuser strip along each bar is frosted rather than clear, so the LED line itself stays soft rather than showing individual points of light. Both mount flat with concealed fixings. Installation should be carried out by a competent person, with the circuit isolated before work begins.
