Luna Opal Globe Pendant Light

Opal glass globes on a slim metal fitting. Opal hides the source entirely and spreads light evenly in every direction, so the globe glows as a solid object rather than showing a bright filament inside, which is what makes it comfortable at low ceiling heights.

One head or two changes the role considerably. A single globe is an accent, right above a bedside or in a hallway. Two globes on the same fitting span a wider area, which suits a dining table or a section of kitchen worktop without needing two separate ceiling points. The opal finish is on the inside of the glass, so the outer surface can be wiped clean without disturbing the diffusion. Choose the two-head version where the run of worktop or table is long enough that a single globe would leave one end noticeably dimmer.

Three metal finishes. Black is the most graphic, white the quietest, gold the warmest and most decorative. Each comes in warm or cold white; warm suits a bedroom or dining room, cold white is clearer over a worktop. Over a table, hang the bottom around 75 to 85 cm above the surface. Installation should be carried out by a competent person.
