FlashMouse Pivoting Wall Lamp

A small rounded body with two ear-like forms at the top, which is where the mouse reference comes from. It is handled lightly rather than literally: the silhouette suggests the animal without any face or detailing, so it stays usable in a room that is not a nursery.

The head pivots, so the beam can be aimed after mounting. Turned down it is a reading light beside a bed; turned up it washes the wall and becomes ambient. That adjustment is what lifts it above a purely decorative fixture.

Six colours, all muted. White and grey are the neutrals and disappear into a pale wall. Pink, green, blue and yellow are the decorative options, soft enough for an adult bedroom and cheerful enough for a child's room. A pair either side of a bed in the same colour reads better than mixing. Because the head pivots rather than detaches, there is nothing loose for small hands to pull free, though a lamp mounted within reach of a cot or a low bed should still be checked periodically. The body is roughly 8cm wide, small enough to sit either side of a child's headboard without dominating the wall. Installation should be carried out by a competent person, with the circuit isolated before work.
