Food-grade PP with silicone seals, in 850 ml or 1100 ml, with cutlery built into the lid. The silicone is what makes the leak-proof claim mean something: a rigid lid on its own will not hold soup or dressing upright in a bag, but a compressed seal will.

Two capacities for two appetites. 850 ml suits a school lunch or a light adult meal; 1100 ml covers a full working lunch with a side. Both split into compartments, so a salad and its dressing, or a hot main and fruit, travel separately and arrive as intended. The silicone seal can be removed for a thorough clean, which matters more than it sounds since a seal left unwashed for weeks is where smells and staining tend to build up. The built-in cutlery clips securely into the lid rather than rattling loose in transit, so nothing needs to be packed separately or forgotten on a rushed morning.

Microwave safe for reheating at a desk and dishwasher safe for the part nobody enjoys. Four colours: blue, green, pink and yellow, bright enough to be recognisable in a shared fridge. Check the seal is properly closed before it goes in a bag, and supervise younger children with the cutlery.
