A circle of timber with the light source recessed inside it, so what you see from below is a ring of wood and a glow rather than a fitting. The restraint is deliberate: there is no visible hardware, no shade, and nothing applied to the surface beyond the finish on the wood itself.

That simplicity is what lets it cross styles. In a Scandinavian room it reads as a natural material among other natural materials. In a Japandi interior the circular form and the plain finish do the work. In a plain contemporary room it becomes the one warm element on an otherwise cool ceiling.

Two finishes with real difference between them. Walnut is deeper and more formal, and holds its own in a room with darker furniture. Natural wood is lighter and calmer, and disappears more readily into a pale ceiling. The LED is integrated, so there are no bulbs to match or replace. The timber ring is a thin veneer over a lightweight core rather than solid wood, which keeps the whole fixture manageable to lift into place despite its width. A slim diffuser sits behind the recessed LED, softening the light before it reaches the room rather than leaving a bare strip visible. Installation should be carried out by a competent person, with the circuit isolated before work begins.
