Two clear acrylic panels with the photograph held between them, so the image appears to float without a border or a mount. The edge of the print is visible, which is deliberate: it reads as a gallery presentation rather than a framed snapshot.
Four sizes cover most prints, from 11 x 14 cm for a small photograph up to 26 x 31 cm for an art print or a poster crop. Because the frames are visually weightless, several different sizes can sit together on the same shelf without the arrangement looking cluttered, which is harder to pull off with solid wooden frames. Prints sit best trimmed square, as the visible edge of the paper becomes part of the presentation and a crooked cut is obvious.
Nine colours in the base, from neutral grey and brown through to blue, green, orange, yellow, pink and a rainbow option. The colour sits in the stand rather than around the image, so it accents the photograph without competing with it. Clean the acrylic with a soft dry cloth only; household sprays haze the surface over time. Keep the frames out of direct sunlight, which fades a print faster than most people expect, and handle the panels by their edges, since fingerprints on the inner faces show through the image.
